It was only a matter of time folks. The vault has been plundered. The dust has been blown off. The gems resurface for a much needed outing. Hold tight.......It's a Disco Special! Just needed to do it on so many levels.....Join me for a selection of late 70's/early 80's Disco/Jazz Funk/Soul treats. The roots of house explored. Expect tunes from Rose Royce, Norman Conners, The Supremes, Tom Browne, Change, Class Action, Crown Heights Affair, Mass Production, Stroer and Dazzle. If your already a lover of all things Disco, then dig in and enjoy. If you're yet to be convinced of the power of authentic Disco and it's influence on House music then this could just be the podcast to change your mind. Either way, I bloody loved putting it together! Part 2 coming soon.......thanks for listening. Disko.

Sky High is a live mix recorded from scratch. All vinyl using Technic 1210's. For this mix I've gone for a slight 80's feel. That early electronic sound but still retaining the groove. Artists featured include: Kerri Chandler, Chuck Love, Visage, Spirit Catcher, Audio Jack, Quentin Harris and OMD. I see snowy landscapes with bright sunshine in a vast clear blue sky. The sounds eminate from that vastness, its crisp, loud and fills the sky. Enjoy.
